Arrival and Departure
Check-in is available starting at 4:00 p.m. This is because we need to ensure that your accommodation is properly prepared for your arrival.
Upon your arrival, we’ll welcome you, give you the keys, and show you around the cottage. Please let us know your estimated arrival time so we can make the necessary arrangements.
However, if you’ve set out very early to avoid traffic, or if you think you’ll arrive earlier than expected, please contact us. We can discuss your options together.
Each vacation rental has a private parking space. Whenever possible, please use this parking space.
However, you may also park on the street near the vacation rental. Parking is free in the neighborhood.
When you make your reservation, you have the option to sign up for the “End-of-Stay Cleaning” package.
This package includes:
- cleaning the kitchen
- cleaning the living areas
- cleaning the bedrooms
- cleaning common areas
- cleaning the bathrooms
- cleaning the floors
- dusting the furniture
However, you are still responsible for:
- washing and putting away the dishes
- emptying the refrigerator and freezer
- folding the blankets and stripping the beds, with sheets folded on the beds
- folding and placing the towels in the shower
- emptying all trash cans
- checking that you haven’t left anything behind in the closets.
As soon as you arrive, we ask that you return the property inspection form to us, completed by you. Please also let us know about any issues within 24 hours.
When you check out, we will conduct a final inspection and will notify you of the results within 48 hours.
Check-out is at 10 a.m. at the latest.
If there are no reservations scheduled for the day after your departure, a later check-out time may be possible. Please feel free to contact us during your stay so we can discuss the possibility of a later check-out time together.
