You probably all remember people around you who dreamed of changing their lives one day. They imagined themselves going raising goats in Larzac … For us, this symbol of change was best represented by the opening of vacation rentals. Thus, we projected ourselves into a dream we had built together, combining our love of meeting people and sharing experiences.
Dream of cottages
For many years, we fantasized about this dream. We imagined our cottages and our new life as soon as we discovered a remarkable site. Then one day, in 2023, we decided to take the plunge: to stop dreaming about our life and start living our dream…
Choosing a destination
To leave or to stay
That’s why we decided, when all the signs were green, to embark on this new life. But where would we settle? Would we stay in the Toulouse region, or move to a new destination? We both wanted to settle on the Atlantic coast, but it’s so vast…
Let’s rediscover the Atlantic coast
After spending a few months traveling along the coast, we fell in love with Andernos-les-Bains. This charming seaside resort nestled on the edge of the magnificent Arcachon Bay immediately caught our attention with its authentic and welcoming atmosphere. What’s more, it remains lively throughout the year and offers a wide range of activities.
Finding our little piece of paradise
Once we had chosen our destination, we had to find our little corner of paradise. Because we had imagined, or rather dreamed of, our future cottages. They had to live up to our aspirations.
So we set about visiting houses that might enable us to make our project a reality. Unfortunately, none of them met our expectations. Then one day, we stumbled upon not a house, but a plot of land that would allow us to make our dream come true. Now we would be able to build our future home and our vacation rentals.
Let's draw our dream
Now we had to design our dream. With the help of our builder, we imagined our cottages while reconciling our initial objectives.
Scalable accommodations
We wanted flexible lodgings. That’s why the two cottages were designed to be connected and rented together. This makes it possible to stay with family or friends.
Comfort and relaxation
We wanted to offer comfort and relaxation. A relaxation area with a heated pool and a jacuzzi is planned.
Friendliness, sharing, and intimacy
Finally, we planned to combine conviviality, sharing, and privacy. We will live close to the lodgings while maintaining a separation that guarantees our guests’ privacy.
